Oh, the # of iterations you’ll go

Hello all, I’m currently working on Ty’s matte painting. As he is his own director, he asked if I could include a grandfather clock and a family photo from his youth in the matte painting. This was no problem, and of course, I love including meaningful objects in every project—like little Easter eggs. I will say, I’ve gone through many iterations of what this room could be. I stayed away from a living room since at the beginning of the cut we can see Ty is leaving his ‘actual’ living room. Here is the link to the cut from Ty’s website: Class 3. After having that revelation, I switched gears and turned a more musical route by incorporating records and a speaker instead.
